I have always liked making things, ever since I was a little kid.  I enjoy woodworking, electrical work, programmming, tinkering, and making astronomical devices, just to name a few of my interests.  There really is nothing like the feeling that you get when you are using a telescope, table, chair, or astronomical program and then you think to yourself, "I made this!"  So I highly recommend it!  I plan to share lots of information on this site about how I have made various things related to astronomy, such as telescope mirrors, a dobsonian telescope mount, a mirror grinding table, mirror testing equipment, astronomy equipment cases and storage closets, astronomy power boxes and power systems, and even astronomical software.  You will find these things sorted into various categories on this site.  And remember, you can do astronomy too!!
